Free Rent Given to Subtenant

I have a subtenant that would only take the space if I give him 2 month free rent. My question is can I deduct the cost of these two months immediately or do I need to amortize this expense over the life of the lease.

To recap:
-I am the primary tenant
-I am subleasing my space
-I am giving two months free rent
-but I am still paying rent to landlord
-Can I take a deduction now or do I amortize this free rent I'm giving to
the subtenant?
